RAMVAC VACHECK Uses
Check treatment room for minimal useful vacuum performance. Ensure vacuum system can support safe, efficient operation of high volume evacuators and nitrous oxide scavengers.
Specify size for proposed systems
Example, specify: The vacuum system must provide acceptable perfomance for # [specified number of] HVE equivalents (1 HVE equivalent = 1 HVE or 5 saliva ejectors or 5 small surgical aspirators or 4 nitrous oxide scavengers) in operation simultaneously and continuously, as demonstrated by a RAMVAC Vacheck "pass" indication.
Acceptance check - New equipment
Example, specify: Before accepted, the vacuum system must provide an acceptable performance for # [specified number of] HVE equivalents (1 HVE equivalent = 1 HVE or 5 saliva ejectors or 5 small surgical aspirators or 4 nitrous oxide scavengers) in operation simultaneously and continuously, as demonstrated by RAMVAC Vacheck "pass" indication.
Performance check - Old equipment
Repeated periodic Vacheck testing can identify clogged lines and poorly cleaned solids separators and vacuum hoses.
