Check Treatment Room for minimal useful vacuum performance

• Ensure vacuum system can support safe, efficient operation of high volume evacuators and nitrous oxide scavengers.
• The Flowcheck™ provides a quantitative evaluation of performance by measuring flow in SCFM at an open high volume evacuator.

Specify size for proposed systems

• Acceptable performance is indicated by a minimum flow at each open HVE of x SCFM as measured by a RAMVAC Flowcheck™
• Sample Specification: The vacuum must provide acceptable performance for x HVE equivalents (1 HVE equivalent to 5 saliva ejectors or 5 small surgical aspirators or 4 nitrous oxide scavengers) in simultaneous and continuous operation.

Acceptance check - New equipment

• Acceptable performance is indicated by a minimum flow at each open HVE of x SCFM as measured by a RAMVAC Flowcheck™
• Sample Specification: Before acceptance, the vacuum must provide acceptable performance for x HVE equivalents (1 HVE equivalent to 5 saliva ejectors or 5 small surgical aspirators or 4 nitrous oxide scavengers) in simultaneous and continuous operation.
